Service Outline
MyBus Rural services are on-demand bus services designed to serve people and communities who do not have a local bus service or who have poor public transport links. Where possible MyBus Rural will seek to connect to existing public transport services.
MyBus Rural cannot however undertake journeys that are already available by existing public transport services.
Service Users
MyBus Rural is utilised by both customers who hold MyBus registrations and by members of the public.
Pick-Up/Drop Off Points
Where possible passengers will be uplifted from central points within towns and villages.
Passengers who hold MyBus registrations, or in particularly rural spots may be entitled to a door-to-door service.
Fares
Normal bus service fares apply and will be confirmed at the time booking.
Scottish Citizens National Entitlement Cards, Zonecards and Daytripper tickets are valid on most services.
